First impressions are important. Some people think that doing well in interviews is the key to securing a good job. To what extent do you agree?

                          

It is a universal factor that the way a person express himself for the first time  matters a lot ;that is why some like -minded individuals deem that 
first
impression really considered while facing an interview and is the most deciding element to secure an employment; however this is not the only factor that the recruiters consider. In my opinion, apart from interview
, candidate’s educational qualifications and work experience and skills are also important.

To begin with ,there is not an iota of doubt that how a candidate perform in the interview is the main deciding point to select the right person for a job .To elaborate it, an interview is made by evaluation of the candidate’s credentials and how he or she reacts to the questions. In an interview ,for example , a candidate is asked to decode the question related to the task which they will be performing at the workplace and if they remained unable to provide the solutions or explanation they might be rejected. Moreover ,during an oral interview both the candidate and the recruiter can get information about each other ;like can the appeared person be a right one according to the culture and environment of the organization as well the candidate can also know about the nature of his employers.

Paradoxically ,in my opinion ,this is partially true; sometimes an interviewer might be interested about the candidate’s potential and how they can contribute to the organization .In addition ,this leads to select a candidate with less capability to comprehend the complex tasks of an institution as for that a person with a strong educational background is required. So ,i believe that aside from interview performance, a candidate’s education, work history, certificates and skills are
also
considered. Some big organizations, to cite an example , hire engineers graduated from foreign university only to gain the trust and confidence of the general public and maintain their reputation. Also ,a person with good experience in the concerned field is always sought after by the firms as they can join work force straight away without any formal training.
To recapitulate , in my opinion, undoubtedly first impressions and giving one's best in the interviews is so pertinent but, at the last resort , education, work experience and skills really considered a key fact during the recruitment process.
